Введение. В статье представлены результаты исследования, посвященного оценке потребления участниками специальной военной операции табачной и никотинсодержащей продукции.Цель исследования: оценить среди участников специальной военной операции распространенность употребления табачной и никотинсодержащей продукции, ее влияние на здоровье, желание потребителей отказаться от употребления и предоставление медицинской помощи по отказу от табака/никотина.Материалы и методы. Анализ потребления табачной и никотинсодержащей продукции проводился по данным опроса, проведенного среди участников специальной военной операции. В соответствии с целью исследования был разработан опросный лист, содержащий четыре тематических раздела. Анкетирование осуществлялось на базе офисов Государственного фонда «Защитники Отечества» в субъектах Российской Федерации. Показатели рассчитывались среди всех участников специальной военной операции, а также среди мужчин и женщин. Сравнение групп потребителей и непотребляющих табак/никотин проводилось с помощью двухпропорционального Z-теста.Результаты. В опросе приняли участие 1 135 респондентов. Было выявлено высокое распространение употребления табачной и никотинсодержащей продукции (67,2%). Однако только 5,9% респондентов ответили, что начали употреблять эту продукцию во время участия в специальной военной операции. Высокую степень никотиновой зависимости имели 60,2% опрошенных. Среди потребителей табака/никотина в 2 раза чаще встречалось наличие мокроты, в 1,5 раза чаще – кашель и в 2,6 раза чаще – признаки хронического бронхита. О том, что хотели бы отказаться от употребления табака/никотина сообщили 51,6% респондентов.Заключение. Исследование выявило высокое распространение потребления табака/никотина среди участников специальной военной операции. Наряду с прочими опасностями для здоровья, связанными со служебными обязанностями во время боевых действий, употребление табака/никотина можно характеризовать как серьезный фактор риска для состояния организма, приводящий к дополнительным проблемам, которых можно было бы избежать.

Introduction. The article presents the results of a study on the assessment of the consumption of tobacco and nicotine- containing products by Veterans.The purpose of the study: to assess the prevalence of tobacco and nicotine among Militaries, impact on health, consumers’ desire to stop using, and the provision of medical care for tobacco/nicotine withdrawal.Materials and methods. In accordance with the purpose of the study, a questionnaire was developed. The survey was conducted at the offices of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. The indicators were calculated among all participants, as well as among men and women. The comparison of groups of consumers and non-tobacco/nicotine users was carried out using a two-proportional Z-test.Results. 1,135 respondents took part in the survey. There was a high prevalence of tobacco and nicotine (67.2%). However, only 5.9% of respondents said that they started using these products while participating in their activities. 60.2% of consumers had a high degree of nicotine dependence. Sputum was 2 times more common among tobacco/nicotine users, cough was 1.5 times more common, and signs of chronic bronchitis were 2.6 times more common. 51.6% of consumers said they would like to give up.Conclusion. The study revealed a high prevalence of tobacco/nicotine use among the participants of the study. Despite the effects of other health risk factors associated with official duties during combat operations, tobacco/nicotine use can be characterized as a serious health risk factor leading to additional health.
